Below are 3  tremendous tracks taken from the 2002 album 'Mountain Dudes' by a genuine modern day 'Hillbilly' band, The Can Kickers. The first is called  'Rachel Corrie', the second, 'Cripple Creek' and last but certainly not least 'Elzic's Farewell/Sally Goodin'. If these don't get feet tapping rigor mortis has probably already set in!!!

Just been given permission to upload a couple of tracks by the superb 'Black Twig Pickers' from their recent album 'Ironto Special.' The review can be found in the 2010 c.d reviews archive.

Just been given permission by Jason T. Lewis, the singer songwriter and guitarist responsible for the incredible early 21st Century band 'Star City' and the recent 'Sad Iron Music' to upload a few songs to the website. Star City were the band about whom 'No Depression' magazine described as 'the best alt. country band you've never heard of.' They were absolutely correct as history shows, and another band that could have been world beaters bit the dust! However after some time away from music Jason came back as strong as ever last year with the tremendous 'Sad iron Music' album. (a reveiw of which can be found on the 2010 c.d reviews archive)

I've selected 3 songs from the brilliant 2001 Star City release 'Inside the other days' plus 2 from the 'Sad Iron Music' album. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have. If you do, the 2 Star City albums are still available as, fairly obviously, is the Sad Iron Music  album.
